These huts have a 6x8 floor with a 6x6 loft, creating a little over 80 square feet of total floorspace. Furthermore, these huts are large enough to heat safely with our emergency heat stove - an important consideration during the winter.

This blueprint uses an asymmetric saltbox roof, which offers better ventilation, headspace, and a simpler construction process than a gabled roof. The loft space can be used as storage or sleep space.

Panel Guide

A Low Rider 1.0 is composed of three parts - a living unit, a storage unit, and a porch. Each of these three parts are composed of panels. Altogether there are 13 panels total, but there are only 8 blueprints necessary to build the three parts. This is because the side panels for the Storage Unit and the Sleeping Unit are essentially identical, and the Porch is the same as a Living Unit Floor panel
